Title: Happy New Year (???)

Hi guys :D welcome to my daily digital diary of sorts where I talk about whatever I want to and nobody can stop me
I've decided that every day, I'm going to write down something important about the day (if it applies), my daily (KJV) Bible reading (I'm not religious + DON'T plan to be), anything interesting that may have happened that day, and one thing that I've learned (might repeat some things LOL).
And, if anyone cares, my timezone is EST (GMT-5).
Notable date: Today is New Year's Day! Happy New Year!
Daily Bible: (Genesis 1-3) God created the universe and everything in it.
He created man (Adam) in his own image, out of the dust from the ground, putting him in a garden in Eden with the Tree of Life and the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. God gave him one rule: "But of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, thou shall not eat of it" (Genesis 2:17); and created for him a woman (Eve) out of one of his ribs.
The serpent (Satan) tempts Eve to eat from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, and she and Adam eat and become aware of themselves. God curses the serpent, Satan, Adam & Eve, and all of their offspring. He tells Adam & Eve that their lives will be full of sorrow, and that they (specifically Adam) must work tirelessly to survive: "In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return" (Genesis 3:19). God sends the humans out from Eden, and places Cherubim angels and a flaming sword to guard the path to the Tree of Life, so that they may not live in eternal suffering.
Other Notes: My goal is to read the entire bible this year, not because I want to become religious or anything but because it's an interesting story and I think being knowledgable about these things can help!
I've also been watching One Piece so I guess that'll be a thing too. I finished Ep.10 today, waohoo!!
Actually I just realized that bible part takes up a lot of room and looks kind of cringe maybe I won't do it here
